“Carbon Copy” is the debut single from Canadian band OKPERFECT. It was produced, engineered, and mixed by Siegfried Meier. Recorded at Beach Road Studios. Mastered by Troy Glessner at Spectre Studios. If you know any of those names, you know damn well that you can expect perfection from this single, but the perfection doesn’t just come from those names; it comes from the band. This is a powerful four and a half minute long song both sonically and emotionally. There’s an air of heaviness that comes attached to it and a subtle darkness, but it’s the kind of song that lights up even the darkest of souls. “Carbon Copy” gives you space to breathe and to think while suffocating you with the power that is OKPERFECT in such a, well, perfect kind of way. From the desperation to the triumph that rises and falls throughout this track, “Carbon Copy” is a heck of a debut single for this band, and I can’t wait to see and hear what comes next from them.
