Pop-punk perfection is the name of the game when it comes to Morning In May and this song is a great reflection of that. I mean, the title alone is a nod to do the days when song titles were super long and had nothing to do with what the song was about. Although I would call this an anthemic pop-punk track, there are definitely some metalcore elements that come through throughout the track primarily in the guitar and drum parts.
About a minute and a half in, I was reminded of bands like Breathe Carolina and 3OH!3. If those two names mean anything to you, you will absolutely love this song but, again, this track is all over the place so even if those aren’t your favorite bands, I’m sure you will find something in this track to fall in love with.
