The sheer amount of sound and power in “Lost” from Life in Vacuum makes it hard to believe that this is just a trio. There’s something hypnotic about this track and something almost in your face while not being aggressive. With a sound that is a bit Refused meets Japandroids with a more accessible indie rock stance through the verses, I loved how this track was a little all over the place. I could both see this on the radio and being a bit too intense for the radio at multiple points throughout the four minute and ten second song.
I know that with some tracks, anything over three minutes can seem to be a bit much but the ebbs and flows throughout this song along with the constant mood shifts makes this song feel much quicker than that and I would be willing to bet that, once done, you will be left wanting so much more from Life in Vacuum.
