There’s something so chill yet so full of life about “Trazadone” from Knowall. It starts off slow and simple before blasting into a heavy hitting pop-punk infused track yet there’s something tender about the way it is approached. From the vocals to the word choice all the way to the delicate guitarwork that comes in and out throughout the track, the balance of emotion in this track is absolutely flawless. It makes it one of those songs that can hit completely different depending on what your mood is when listening to the song and I absolutely love that element.
Overall, I would categorize this track as new school pop-punk. There are clear nods to some OG pop-punk bands like Blink 182 and Brand New in the song but, overall, I got more of a Microwave meets Hot Mulligan sound which is exactly what has been hitting the spot lately. If you’re looking for something as equally catchy as it is emotionally powerful, “Trazadone” is going to be the ticket for you and Knowall will be your new favorite band.
