Have you caught onto the fact that I love pop-punk music? If not, maybe knowing that I just can not get enough of “NECK OR NOTHING” from Hideaway will help you understand.

Admittedly, this song is leaning a bit more pop-based than what I typically fall for but this song is just too dang catchy to ignore or pass up a chance to feature. Although, at face value, it’s pop-punk leaning pop, I feel like throughout this track you get little hints of everything from emo to indie rock. I also feel like you quickly catch onto the fact that these elements are all coming from different members. The guitarwork, at times, has a very indie rock vibe whereas the drums seem to have a more slamming emo punk style to them. I love how all of these come together to form a sound that is very distinctively Hideaway.

“NECK OR NOTHING” is seriously just one of those sunny summer day type pop-punk songs that makes you want to grab your friends and get into some inevitably precarious situations. There’s something so carefree and upbeat about this track that I promise it will bring a smile to your face and a pep to your step even if you’re having a super rough day.
