I love it when bands give me some insight on a song when they send it to me. I also love it when bands say nothing and leave a track open for interpretation. When No Better Way sent me their new track “Outcast” it came without any explanation but that had zero effect on my love for it.
Right off the bat, this song hits your right in the gut with a 1-2 punch of classic hardcore sounds. That feeling reigns supreme throughout the minute and forty-one seconds that this song lasts. Really, nothing about this song is super extraordinary or made me stop and wonder how the band came up with a certain part or phrase but that’s what makes this song so great and ear-catching. It’s just straight up solid from the recording quality to the song itself. If you’re a classic hardcore fan, this song (and band) is absolutely for you!
