Happy Thursday, everyone! I’m stoked that it’s so close to the weekend but, at the same time, am stressed trying to get everything done while continuing to play catch up from my weekend at Riot Fest. One thing that has kept me sane this week is all of the amazing new music I have to share with you so let’s jump right into it today starting with “Fang An” from The Snouts.
I have no clue what the band is saying in this song or what they sent me with this single means but I do know that none of that matters. This song speaks for itself. It’s catchy and anthemic with a sense of angst and aggression behind it that isn’t super in-your-face. The Snouts play the balance act game throughout this song and they play it well. There are moments when this song definitely reminded me of bands like Anti-Flag but other moments that had me leaning more towards an old-school AFI influence. Regardless of what nods you pick up on, this is a stellar track that is surely to get you ready to take on whatever your day may bring.
