I’ve already shared a lot of amazing songs with you today but have yet to share out a pop-punk-perfect pick. That changes now with “Situational” from Køster.
With a typical pop-punk start of acoustic vocals and just a lingering guitar chord, Køster knew how to draw me in and within just a couple of seconds, hit me with the full band sound I was craving. This is a flawlessly created track and has some wicked guitar solos in it that come from Dave of Sum 41 but there’s still something raw about it. Just like every good pop-punk song, this song is about everyday things that we can all relate to. Although those words come through perfectly polished and in tune, there’s still something angsty and perfect about it all. Long story short, if you’re a pop-punk-princess or even a garage-band-king– this is the song you need right now.
