With how busy life seems to get, I feel like we all have these moments where we forget to let go of what is done and gone. Thankfully, we have DOGDAD’s new song “Hospice” to remind us to do just that- let go.

The message behind this song can be related to so many different events in our lives. I mean, based on the song title, the most obvious fitting is death but this can also be applied to trying to move on from a crappy relationship, that job you hate, those friends that mean very little to you when it comes down to it– basically, this is one of those songs that fits regardless of what’s going on in your life. Beyond the timeless and classic message of this song is an absolutely infectious hook. It’s not super predictable or standard and, instead, has a very post-punk vibe but with a bit more of a nostalgia-based vocal style behind it. The sound reminds me of BoySetsFire but I feel like the comparison doesn’t do DOGDAD justice. It’s an original sound with a poignant message that demands to be heard so check out “Hospice” and show DOGDAD some love.
