And, just like that, it’s already 10 AM. I’m not sure where time is going but I am working as fast as I possibly can yet already know that today is one of those days that I will get never get caught up. That’s okay though. I have some amazing music to help me cope like “Devil In Disguise” from Alex Hellcat.
The Rancid influence of this track comes through loud and clear with the opening line of words. From the tone to the swagger and attitude, this opening vocal line just screams Tim Armstrong. You continue to get obvious Rancid vibes throughout this song but, as it progresses, you also get a lot more. From Social Distortion all the way to Elvis, this song has a punk rock attitude and a classy style behind it. There are moments that make you want to raise your fist and others where you just want to sway along to the beat. Regardless of how you respond to this song, Alex Hellcat will have you absolutely hooked with his unique sound and absolutely mesmerizing guitar riffs and dizzying bass lines.
