Girl at the Rock Shows

I’ve been going down a bit of a nostalgic hole over the past hour since sharing out that last track with you. Hearing “Unforgivable” from Eurotripp is not helping me break the cycle.

This song feels dated. That sounds like a bad thing, I know, but it’s not when it comes to “Unforgivable”. Eurotripp definitely pays homage to bands of years gone by in this song and stays true to their nostalgia fueled sound. Typically I would go on to say that the band has intertwined modern elements into the song but not Eurotripp. This song seriously feels right out of the early 2000s. That being said, there’s something fresh here that I just can’t put my finger on. Although I could list off all of the bands that I thought of when listening to “Unforgivable”, I don’t think any of them really hit the nail on the head and I failed to find one song that this reminded me off specifically. Sure, it’s nostalgic and feels a bit dated or like it should have come out decades ago but Eurotripp really killed it on this song and I definitely think that if you are struggling to get through your Monday, this song could be the one to turn it all around.
