I’m honestly having a pretty okay day today which is surprising because the emails keep flooding in. Typically this would give me a panic attack but I am feel cool, calm, and collected today. Instead of being stressed about not being able to keep up, I am just taking things on one task at a time. I know this should be common sense but, for someone with a slight touch of ADD, and an intense case of anxiety, this is way easier said than done. What I’m trying to say is that I’m super proud of myself right now and am ready to celebrate by sharing another amazing song with you!
You know me and my love for pop-punk. If you don’t just know that “Hot Tub” from Late Night Lies was instantly my favorite track when I hit play. This is pop-punk perfection through and through. It has a super, obnoxiously catchy, chorus and verses that will definitely make you smile. Although it’s not the fastest or most frantic track I’ve heard today, I love the carefree and playful energy that “Hot Tub” will fill you with. I mean, this song is about that one time the group’s guitarist was invited to someone’s house for a hot tub party but they ended up being the only one invited which turned into an awkward situation. If that storyline and the words the portray said story don’t make you smile today then you should probably just crawl back into bed and try the day all over again. “Hot Tub” from Late Night Lies is fun and will have you grinning from ear to ear even if you feel like you’re drowning in work right now.
