fiN is not a new band to me. I have heard a few of their singles in the past and have always been impressed by them but I was absolutely struck by “Lucky You”. Although this is not at all a new song having been out for ten years now, it’s still absolutely worth your attention and who doesn’t like going back in time every once in awhile?
Yes, this song is old and has a bit of an old-school vibe to it a la old school All American Rejects meets something just a bit more commercial and indie rock but it’s such a solid track and the lyrics are just as perfect now as they would have been about ten years ago. This song is catchy and full of twists and turns that keep it feeling fresh throughout all three and a half minutes of it. With swoon-worthy vocals on the chorus and a mesmerizing guitar part, this song will surely get stuck in your head even with the first listen so give this song a chance!
