“Overtime” from Dial Denial is all over the place stylistically and that’s what makes it such a stand out track. From catchy choruses to angst and passion with every word– this song is part emo, part pop-punk, and full energy. There’s a very polished feeling to everything about this song from the composition to the mastering. It just has that very professional quality to it that made it stand out to me for all of the right reasons.

Another thing that made this song stand out was the video. It’s not so much the content of the video but just how young this band is and it’s hard to imagine it until you watch the venue and see it unfold right in front of you. Although a bold statement, I feel lie these kids were born in the wrong decade because this song fits in so well with the nostalgia that I am constantly chasing but, at the same time, I think they have such a flawless act that I could see them being the next big thing.

Dial Denial is from the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia and I fear that they do not have any U.S. tour dates on the books right now but you best believe that when they hop over here, I will be doing everything in my power to catch them live. Keep your eye on these guys. Seriously.
