My show tonight fell through so I’m at home along with the cats on Friday. Okay, when I put it like that, it sounds kind of depressing but I, for one, am stoked for a night where I can just sit here and get caught up on everything including sharing some amazing singles with you.
KingCold’s song “LOST CAUSE” came out a month ago and, honestly, it has been on my mind ever since. There’s something mysterious about this song that really caught my ear. From the way it begins to the blend of punk and rock that comes off with a bit of a 90s vibe, I was intrigued and found myself just trying to figure out this song and band throughout this song. What I’ve come to the conclusion of is that this is not a song to be figured out– it’s a song to be enjoyed. “LOST CAUSE” has an infectious beat and hooky chorus and then super intense and powerful bridges. It’s so easy to get lost in this track just waiting to see what will come next which sadly makes this two minute forty-five second song seem way shorter than it actually is but makes it a bit of a thrill ride. I want to say so much more about this song but fear that I will maybe give the magic away so just take a listen for yourself and then you can come back and tell me how much you love this song from KingCold!
