Sorry, Decade & A Day– I’m going to have to disagree with you. We all know that the OG Shrek is the best Shrek but I still love you and your track “Shrek 2 Is The Best In The Series & You Can’t Change My Mind”.
I needed something fun right now as I struggle to get through the day and struggle with the thought of all of the errands I have to do here shortly while still saving enough energy for a show tonight. Thankfully, “Shrek 2 Is The Best In The Series & You Can’t Change My Mind” from Decade & A Day is light hearted and fun enough tat it completely shifted my mood. With the band dressed up as characters from the series (albeit in very budgeted costumes) and a classic pop-punk sound, this song and video alike will absolutely put a smile on your face. Sure, the song title and video is campy but the song is not and is actually a flawless example of pop-punk perfection. Dazzling guitars in the background with steady drums and heartfelt vocals, everything about this song is speaking to my soul right now. So check it out, show them some love, and let’s go ahead and remind them that the OG Shrek is the best Shrek.
