Girl at the Rock Shows

It’s a Thursday and the day, like so many others, seems to be dragging while also leaving me wondering where time is going at the same time. Because of this, I have no witty intro for you but “F.I.D.O.” from BEDSIT doesn’t need an intro. This track truly speaks for itself.

There’s something just so perfectly crafted about “F.I.D.O.” that makes this an addictive listen. There’s a power to this song but it’s not aggressive or in your face. Instead, it hits you perfectly to give you a burst of energy while also wrapping you up in a hug of sorts. The vocals are raw and come with so much emotion yet have a perfect cadence and movement between words creating a flawless sound that cascades over the almost post-hardcore styled instrumentation. Even though the guitars are a bit more aggressive than everything else in this song, something about the tone of them keeps them from allowing you to release you angst that you’ve been holding inside. Instead, the instrumentation seems to simmer throughout this track giving you a long and enjoyable release to those inner aggression. I realize that some of these descriptions are confusing but, once you listen to the genius mastery that is “F.I.D.O.” from BEDSIT, I think you’ll understand.
