With a band name like Litterbox Massacre, do I even really need to try and convince you to check out this song? I mean, come on. Although I never thought I would be a crazy cat lady, here I am with my three fur balls and more “One cat short of crazy” and “I work hard so my cats can have a better life” merchandise scattered throughout my house than I ever thought I had so, naturally, I was drawn to this track and even spit a little bit of coffee through my nose when I saw the band name.
“Kitty Hive Mind” is more than just a song from a band with a great name, this is a solid track through and through. It’s intense and perfect for spooky season with the almost gothic intro that leads into a song that remains utterly intense and primal throughout. I mean, this is death metal, kids, and if that’s not for you, this track probably won’t be for you. If you do like death metal, this is a perfect showcase of how death metal can be done correctly what with the balance between parts in this track and the overall composition. Come for the band name, stay for the intense and flawless music.
