Are you annoyed with me yet today? I know it’s a lot of music to take in but the list keeps on growing so I’ll just keep sharing out these amazing songs with you. Next up is “Not Me Being Crazy” from Burn the Jukebox.

It’s honestly super hard to believe that the members of Burn the Jukebox are only 13-14 years old. “Not Me Being Crazy” has a bit of an old soul behind it but, at the same time, there’s no denying the youthful energy that comes through loud and clear. This song leans just ever so slightly more poppy than I typically go but there’s still a little pop-punk twist in it that had me lost in a cloud of nostalgia. On top of that, this song is ridiculously relatable when it comes to the lyrics. It’s a song about intrusive thoughts but, more specifically, about battling conditions like OCD and the never ending stream of negative self-talk that I feel like we all have to deal with on a daily basis. Although just teens, Burn the Jukebox is talking to my 34-year-old soul making this an instantly favorite track of mine.
