Just in case you weren’t following my blog back in February of this year or just decided to ignore my post about Mean Sea’s song “Idiota Blanco”, I’m back to remind you just how amazing this band is and how they deserve all of your attention (and love and money).
MEAN SEA is back with “There’s No Time (End Of The World Dance Instructions)” and it’s a track that continues to dive into MEAN SEA’s unique and eclectic sound. There’s a sense of controlled chaos that reigns supreme throughout this song. The vocals have a slight echo to them bringing a surf-punk sound to the song while the instrumentation almost leans a bit more into a standard alt-rock scene. All of these genres come together in a ball of energy and fire when it comes to the presentation. This song is far from commercial or predictable yet there’s something catchy about it. I know that, as the song title claims, “There’s No Time” but make sure you find the time to check out this amazing song and shower MEAN SEA with love.
