Well guys, we’ve made it to another Monday and, I have to tell you, I’m feeling it. Getting out of bed seemed like a task this morning and part of me wishes I would have just stayed there but there’s too much to get done today to just take the day off. Thankfully, I have ChumHuffer’s song “Wasting Away” for that kick in the butt that I so desperately need right now.
At just over a minute long, this song is super short but it packs a punch of energy and power. The skate punk vibe is strong with this song but there’s also something classic feeling about it. With clear nods to bands like Dead Kennedys and Descendents scattered throughout this song, I felt myself feeling the urge to get up from my desk and kick some cat toys or something as I stomped my way through this song. It may be a Monday morning but listening to “Wasting Away” will absolutely get you in a weekend mood that will surely help get you through the day.
