Girl at the Rock Shows

I’m losing my motivation for the day but I’m okay with that. I’ve gotten a lot done and the day is still fairly young being that I have the night off from shows. Even so, I need something for that little kick in the butt to keep going and So Much Hope, Buried’s new track “Dissolve” hit the spot.

This song seemed to both acknowledge the exhaustion my mind was feeling while also giving me the kick in the butt I needed. With a blend of emo, pop-punk, and a more metalcore outlook on things, this song truly is all over the place stylistically and hits a bunch of the styles that I love the most. The vocals throughout this three minute song are stunning. They come through loud and clear even with all of the instrumentation going on behind them. Another stand-out element for me was obviously the keys but, if you’ve been reading this blog for some time, that was a given. The emotional stylistization throughout this song is drastic and there’s absolutely an infectious groove throughout this song. I don’t know how the music Gods knew exactly what I was looking for at this exact time but “Dissolve” was exactly what I needed and think it could be what you’re looking for right now too!
