Right off the bat, “casie” from Indications hooked me. Although it starts off just instrumental, I was instantly drawn in by the emotion that comes in through the power of the opening of this track and it only got better from there.
The vocals in this track don’t have the typical aggressive edge that I tend to look for but there’s more of a 90s vibe to them that I found intriguing. There’s power behind them but without the angst that most of my powerful music brings to the table which was both refreshing and enjoyable. Overall, this track stays loud and high-energy but there’s no lack of rises and falls throughout this song that just make the three minute song feel even shorter than three minutes. I love how emotive this song is even though, at face value, it is all one level. It’s a magical thing that Indications has pulled off with this song and I can not wait to hear more from this Canadian band.
