Happy Tuesday, everyone! This is a slow week for me when it comes to shows but that doesn’t mean it’s a slow week when it comes to amazing music to share with you so let’s kick today off with “Dead and Gone” from All To Get Her.
This song starts off the way a lot of classic pop-punk songs do– with the muddied sound of a radio tuner dialing into a sound that can only be described as perfect. I know it’s early but, that’s right people, we are starting today off with a little pop-punk perfection. All To Get Her has a truly classic and nostalgia-fueled sound but also something a bit more modern thrown in there. With moments that reminded me of Zebrahead to others where I was getting more of a Waterparks vibe, I loved how this song seemed to go through all of the modes of pop-punk that I love so dearly. Hold on to your seats right around the 1:45 mark when an absolutely anthemic and powerful moment hits this song (and your heart) absolutely perfectly. I really want to keep boasting about this song but, the fact is, it’s one of those tracks that you just have to hear for yourself so start your day off the right way– with “Dead and Gone” from All To Get Her.
