Ever wish you could go back to the days of that metalcore/ emo crossover scene? Look no further than “Nothingmore.” from Heaven Unknown.
This song is drenched in equal parts nostalgia and power. With anthemic and well-sung choruses to heavy hitting verses and bridges, this song is everything that you are missing from those early 2000s. With nods to everything from Underoath to Four Letter Lie (throwback, I know), this heavy hitting song is so expertly done. Although I caught onto the nostalgia of this song, there are also moments that feel fresh like the small breakdown right around the 1:40 mark. Although overall this song is in your face, there is a sense of beauty in some of the vocals and guitar parts that just cannot be overlooked. Check out the wailing guitar solo around the 2:15 mark for a true showing of this beauty.
