Just a couple of weeks ago, I shared “At The Time” from GreenWing with you (you can read that review HERE!). I told you that they would become your new favorite band after just one listen to “At The Time”. Just in case that wasn’t enough to convince you to check out this amazing band, I’m back today to share their new single “Enough”.
Just as “At The Time” hit on many different levels, so does “Enough”. This song instantly spoke to my soul with its lyrics about the feelings of everything from uncertainty to fear and insecurity. I really can not stress how much this band will comfort you. Yet again, I found myself completely lost in GreenWing’s world as this song took over my office all the while thinking, “That’s right.. I’m not alone and I am okay.” That sounds like such a simple thought but, for some of us out here dealing with metal health struggles that we either try to ignore or just try to deal with on our own, that statement is a hard one to come to terms with so the fact that this song had me feeling that down to my core says everything. Add a ridiculously catchy and radio-ready chorus and an endless sense of energy and you are left with a true masterpiece.
You can go ahead and ignore me yet again when I say that you need to check out GreenWing right now but, just beware, this isn’t the first time I talk about this band and it surely won’t be the last so just do yourself a favor, take a break from your Manic Monday, and give “Enough” from GreenWing a listen.
